How long from quote to installed door?
Typically 2–4 weeks. Standard sizes and stock finishes often ship in 7–10 days; custom Garaga colours, Canyon Ridge wood, or oversize doors can run 3–6 weeks.
What's included in the price?
Door, tracks, hardware, weather seals, removal and disposal of your old door, install labour, opener installation if it's part of your package, and a walkthrough of every feature. WorkSafeBC coverage and full liability insurance included.
Do I need a permit?
For a simple like-for-like replacement in BC, generally no. For changes to the rough opening, header, or structural framing (taller door, carport conversion, high-lift requiring backers), yes — and we handle the permit on your behalf in most municipalities. City of Vancouver fees typically run $500–$2,500 depending on scope.
What's the warranty?
Manufacturer warranty on the door (Garaga, Clopay limited lifetime on panels/Intellicore, Steel-Craft, Wayne Dalton lifetime on TruChoice paint), manufacturer warranty on the opener (LiftMaster), plus our own installation warranty on labour.
Do you finance?
Yes — monthly payment plans are available for door + opener packages over $2,000.
How does the 15-minute callback work?
Submit the configurator (or the callback form) with your name, phone and email between 8am and 6pm Mon–Sat, and a real person calls you back within 15 minutes. If we're late, your in-home consultation is free.
Will you come measure my opening?
Yes — free in-home consultation across the entire service area. We measure, photograph, and confirm headroom/sideroom/backroom on site so the door we order fits the first time.
Can you match my home's colour exactly?
With Wayne Dalton TruChoice we can match 6,000+ colours, including Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams and Behr, plus the full RAL Classic system. Clopay's Color Blast adds 1,500+ finishes. Bring us a paint chip or a photo of your trim.
Will a new door fit my old garage?
Almost always. Less than 12" of headroom? We use a low-headroom track. More than 14"? We can offer a high-lift conversion at the same time. We confirm it all at the free in-home measure.
